Announcement of Brokerage event
WBC - VMnet is organizing two-day international event entitled „Promotion of research and innovation for competitiveness",19-20 October 2011, Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Resavska 13-15, Belgrade, which is organized through the partnership of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences- University of Kragujevac, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the University of Belgrade, within the projects I3E, WBC-VMnet and EEN, in order to strengthen the cooperation between science and economy, especially in the research and innovation field. The eminent foreign and local experts in the field of research, innovation and business will be included in the meeting activities.
As part of the morning workshops regional achievements in these areas will be presented, as well as the examples of best practices of the local companies, the available sources of financing and the applied models of technology transfer here and abroad. The afternoon session is planned for the brokerage activities, including shorter presentations of the enterprises, research teams and project ideas organized within three parallel sessions, with the focus on FP7 and CIP, which will be followed by the individual meetings of the participants.
In addition to the participation of the line Ministries, partner institutions in I3E, WBC-VMNet and EEN projects, participation of foreign and domestic enterprises, research teams, institutions supporting small and medium enterprises, chambers of commerce and regional development agencies, as well as the representatives of the funds for the development, research and innovation financing is expected.
